Location

Lo de Carta sits at an altitude of 765 meters at a point where Tenerife's lush, sub-tropical zone blends into the pine forests of the island's Alpine zone. Here there is an abundace of wild flowers, cacti, and of course, our vineyards. A short walk from the house takes you inside some of the most beautiful pine forests in all of Europe. Towering above, is Mount Teide, Spain's highest mountain, centre-piece of the Volcanic Zone, which is both a National Park and a UNESCO World Heritage Centre. In the opposite direction, the Atlantic Ocean is spread out below you, in a spectacular 180˚ vista, offering some of the best sunrises, ever!

The house is easily accessible by road from the island's North (TFN) and South (TFS) Airports in approximately 45 minutes.

Lo de Carta is one of the oldest traditional houses in Tenerife. It nestles in the foot-hills of Mount Teide, Spain's highest mountain, surrounded by pine forests, grape-vines and a magnificent vista of the Atlantic Ocean.
